Sole Health Care participated in a Surgical Skills Workshop at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney on Friday 2nd July showcasing the German designed Stapleline Surgical Stapling instruments alongside those from Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon Endo Surgery.
A number of surgeons commented on the simmilararilty in feel and handling characteristics in tissue compared to the products they are currently using in their hospitals and were surprised as to the high quality of the Stapleline Generic range which is on ‘Contract’ in NSW public hospitals for 30 – 70% less than existing products.

Dr Chris Kirtley is a Medical Practitioner and Bio Medical Engineer and a Dual Australian/British citizen. Dr Kirtley is fluent in English, French & German and is currently learning Chinese. He resides in Shenzhen in China and Graduated from the University of Leeds (Medicine) and University of Strathclyde (Bio Medical Engineering). Dr Kirtley has worked in the UK, Australia, France, Austria , Germany, Hong Kong and the USA and published 2 books and over 20 Journal Articles on a wide range of topics.
