VA 7 - COMBINED PPG AND DOPPLER ASSESSEMENT The RHEO DOPPLEX II PPG and Doppler system combines Digital Photoplethysmography (PPG) with bi-directional Doppler in one hand-held unit. It provides a rapid assessment of overall venous function and produces printouts of venous refill curves and blood flow waveforms. The system is fully automatic and can be used by clinical staff at any level. When combined with the DOPPLEX REPORTER Software Package it forms a mini vascular lab system capable of most arterial and venous examinations.

VA 14 - AUSTRALIAN MADE ULTRASOUND GEL 'Neptis' brand Ultrasound gel is a water soluble product and will not irritate the skin. It spreads easily and evenly. Neptis Ultrasound Gel is colourless so that you don't stain your clothes. A colour in no way assists in the diagnostic procedure and is available in 250ml bottles or as a 5 Litre refilable. The pump draws up large amounts of gel so the 250 ml bottles can be filled quickly. It has a stem that reaches to the bottom so you can completely empty the container and is compeditively priced.

VA 16 - PENTHROX ORAL ANALGESIC Penthox™ is the combination of an inhaler device and a pharmaceutical agent that has been used in Australia for over 30 years by healthcare professionals for the provision of immediate pain and anxiety relief. Penthrox™ provides the patient strong pain relief and comfort. The product is administered by the patient when required simply by inhaling Penthrox™ through the Penthox™ Inhaler.

VA 15 - BI DIRECTIONAL INTEROPERATIVE PROBE The New bi-directional Interoperative Probe can be used to immediately confirm blood flow prior to closing, saving time and the potential costs of re-operation. The High Sensetivity probes are available in packs of 3 and can be re-sterilised by Autoclave, EO or Steris. A special electronic adapler resists diathermy interference allows connection to any vascular Doplex Advanced Pocket Dopler. The Dopler can be mounted on an IV Pole. Available as a starter Pack containing 3 probes.

In contrast to pure biological grafts, which are made from recycled blood vessels or other tissues recovered from abattoirs or hospitals, Omniflow II is a purpose-designed biosynthetic graft, produced according to strict specifications for use in peripheral bypass or arteriovenous access. The unique feature of Omniflow II is that it is made to a specific design. Chemical cross-linking and sterilisation results in a custom-designed prosthetic material that combines the durability of a synthetic material with haemocompatibility similar to that of a natural blood vessel.
